Fender is seeking a Temp Guitar Packer to assist in the packaging department, preparing guitars and basses for shipping. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform various warehouse tasks.
You are detail-oriented and capable of performing various tasks in a warehouse setting. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in preparing products for shipment. You are comfortable working in a team environment and can adapt to different roles as needed. You have a strong work ethic and are committed to meeting daily shipping demands. You are open to learning new processes and techniques related to packaging and shipping musical instruments.
As a Temp Guitar Packer at Fender, you will be responsible for safely completing inbound and outbound warehouse tasks, including unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing. You will rotate among several tasks within the packaging department, ensuring that guitars and basses are prepared for shipping to vendors. Your attention to detail will be crucial in selecting cases, packing instruments, assembling boxes, sealing boxes, and operating pallet runners. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to meet daily shipping goals and maintain high standards of quality in the packaging process.
This temporary position is expected to last for about six months, providing you with valuable experience in a well-known company within the music industry. You will have the opportunity to learn about the packaging process of musical instruments and gain insights into the operations of a leading brand. The pay rate for this position is $18 per hour, and while it is a temporary role, it offers a chance to be part of a dynamic team at Fender.
