Job summary
Valiantys Senegal is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Delivery team.
In this role, you will lead client projects from pre-sales to delivery, providing expert technical guidance and ensuring solutions meet business objectives.
A key focus will be migrating Atlassian Server and Data Center instances to the Cloud, and occasionally supporting clients moving from Cloud to Data Center. You will propose clear, practical solutions and ensure smooth administration of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket...
This position combines technical expertise and strategic consulting, offering the opportunity to design, implement, and optimize Atlassian solutions while collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and consultants to deliver tangible value.
You need to be based in Dakar.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Lead requirements analysis and translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Plan and design intelligent, scalable Atlassian implementations
- Configure, integrate, and deploy solutions following best practices
- Conduct system audits and develop optimization recommendations
- Deliver client training and ensure smooth knowledge transfer
Consulting Leadership
- Act as the main point of contact and escalation for technical topics in client projects
- Guide consultant colleagues and share expertise within the Delivery team
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
- Collaborate with Atlassian and Marketplace partners to solve complex challenges
Client Engagement
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Advise clients on maximizing the value of their Atlassian tools and Valiantys services
- Identify new business opportunities and work closely with the Sales team on future projects
Presales Support
- Participate in discovery and scoping sessions with clients
- Design and present tailored demos, proof of concepts, or workshops
- Contribute to Statements of Work (SoWs), RFP responses, and technical proposals
Thought Leadership
- Share knowledge through documentation, blog posts, and community events
- Stay up-to-date with the Atlassian ecosystem and emerging technologies
- Contribute to internal enablement, innovation, and research & development (R&D) initiatives
