Carvana is seeking a Mid-Level Auto Painter to join their team in Tolleson, AZ. You'll be responsible for matching and mixing paint colors and using water-based paint to paint vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your ability to match and mix paint colors accurately. You are skilled in using water-based paint and are familiar with working in paint booths, ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the demands of the job, including the possibility of mandatory overtime based on business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
As a Mid-Level Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, which includes cleaning and masking areas that should not be painted. You will match and mix paint colors to ensure a perfect match with the vehicle's original color. You will operate state-of-the-art tools and equipment in our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that each vehicle meets our quality standards. You will work collaboratively with your team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive painting. Your role may also involve training entry-level painters, sharing your expertise to help them develop their skills and progress within the company.
