Overview

Revance is seeking a Vice President of Medical Affairs and Medical Information to lead strategic initiatives in their aesthetic programs. This role requires collaboration with clinical, R&D, and commercial teams to align medical strategies with company goals.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in medical affairs, particularly within the aesthetics field, and have demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams. Your background includes a deep understanding of clinical data and the ability to translate complex scientific information into actionable strategies for both internal stakeholders and external partners. You excel in building relationships with thought leaders and have a proven track record of aligning medical strategies with the needs of the clinical community.

You are adept at strategic planning and implementation, ensuring that medical affairs programs are not only effective but also aligned with the broader goals of the organization. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to facilitate collaboration across various departments, including Clinical, R&D, and Commercial. You are committed to fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence within your team, encouraging professional growth and development.

Desirable

Experience in the aesthetic industry is highly desirable, as is familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in medical affairs. A strong network within the clinical community will be beneficial, as will any previous experience in a senior leadership role within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.

What you'll do

As the Vice President of Medical Affairs and Medical Information, you will set the strategic direction for the Medical Affairs programs at Revance. You will lead initiatives that ensure the clinical community's needs are met, developing therapeutic area strategies that provide the necessary scientific and clinical data to thought leaders and specialist physician groups. Your role will involve overseeing the Medical Information function, ensuring that your team provides appropriate clinical and scientific support to colleagues in research and development as well as commercial functions.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align medical strategies with company goals, facilitating discussions that drive the organization forward. Maintaining relationships with key thought leaders in aesthetic specialties will be a critical part of your role, ensuring that Revance's strategies are in tune with patient and clinician needs. You will also be responsible for leading the Medical Affairs function, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the company's objectives and that your team is empowered to succeed.

What we offer

Revance offers a competitive salary range of $285,000 to $330,000 annually, along with performance bonuses and long-term incentives. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with 30-40% travel required.
