What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the Visualization team, building the central platform that powers advanced visual debugging for Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will work on rendering interactive visualizations that help engineers and researchers understand the data collected from on-vehicle logs and simulations. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process across various teams.

You will collaborate with domain experts to integrate their specialized visualizations into the unified environment, ensuring that the platform meets the diverse needs of the organization. Your work will involve optimizing performance and scalability, handling massive datasets, and ensuring that the applications you build are user-friendly and efficient.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the applications, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and debugging issues, providing support to other engineers and teams as needed.

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $170,000—$216,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
