Dropbox is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to drive AI/ML initiatives and influence product strategies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage data insights to shape product roadmaps. This role requires expertise in data analysis and machine learning.
You have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong background in building data-driven products and leveraging insights to inform decision-making. Your expertise in Python and SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You are skilled in machine learning techniques and have a solid understanding of data visualization tools to communicate complex insights clearly. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, engineering, and design teams to drive impactful AI/ML initiatives. Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to articulate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
Experience in startups or building 0→1 products is a plus, as is a background in SaaS product and growth analytics. You are familiar with decision trees and can provide data insights even when sample sizes are small, showcasing your ability to work with limited data.
As a Senior Data Scientist at Dropbox, you will partner with Product Engineers and Data Engineers to build reliable, efficient, and scalable data foundations that drive our AI/ML capabilities' long-term growth. You will leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify the most impactful opportunities and directly influence product roadmaps and strategies. Your role will involve performing exploratory and deep-dive analyses to understand user workflows and engagement patterns on AI features. You will propose hypotheses and design and execute experiments with great rigor and efficient data techniques. Additionally, you will translate complex data insights into actionable implications and recommendations for the business, ensuring that your communication is clear and effective.
