Point72 is seeking a Trading Documentation Negotiator to join their Legal team. You will negotiate various trading agreements and support the Financing and Transaction Management Group. This role requires strong legal negotiation skills and experience in trading documentation.
You have a strong background in legal negotiations, particularly in trading documentation, and are comfortable working alongside attorneys and negotiators. You understand the complexities of legal agreements in the finance sector and can provide practical advice on various legal and regulatory matters. Your experience allows you to counsel traders effectively regarding agreements and market practices. You are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining organized documentation, ensuring that all legal documents are properly filed and tracked. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that supports a global trading business.
As a Trading Documentation Negotiator at Point72, you will be responsible for negotiating various trading agreements, including ISDAs, Repo agreements, FX Prime Brokerage Agreements, and Futures and OTC Clearing Agreements. You will assist in equity prime brokerage negotiations, focusing on term commitments, pricing, and margin schedules. Your role will also involve confirming and signing derivative confirmations for bespoke transactions. You will maintain the team’s document database, ensuring that all legal documents are distributed, collected, and filed appropriately. Additionally, you will assist in executing and tracking legal finance agreements, identifying key aspects that require attention.
