Tanium is seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead enterprise software sales and manage complex sales cycles. You'll engage with C-suite executives and drive customer relationships within your territory. This role requires significant experience in enterprise software sales.
You have significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large and complex software transactions with the biggest customers in the region. You are comfortable engaging with C-level executives, including CIOs and CISOs, and can articulate the value of technology solutions tailored to customer needs. Your proven track record of exceeding quotas demonstrates your ability to drive a superior customer experience. You thrive in a team-oriented environment, understanding that selling is a collaborative effort that requires managing and utilizing virtual resources effectively.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Your ability to nurture and develop relationships within assigned territories and accounts is key to your success. You are adept at maintaining excellent sales pipeline management and forecasting accuracy, ensuring that your sales development activities lead to healthy pipeline growth. You are also comfortable conducting online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads, showcasing your expertise in the field.
Experience in a similar role within the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the Tanium platform or similar enterprise solutions. You are a strategic thinker who can navigate complex sales cycles and adapt to the evolving needs of your customers. As the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tanium, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within your assigned territory and accounts. You will articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision-makers, expertly managing the complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Your role will involve nurturing and developing relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to ensure a deep understanding of their needs and how Tanium can address them.
You will collaborate with the Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Your ability to generate appropriate sales development activity will be crucial in maintaining a healthy pipeline and achieving your sales targets. You will also be responsible for accurately forecasting sales and maintaining excellent hygiene in your Salesforce (SFDC) records.
Conducting online webinars or in-person presentations will be part of your responsibilities, as you work to generate qualified leads and showcase the capabilities of the Tanium platform. You will travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects, further strengthening your relationships and understanding of their unique challenges.
