We started our journey back in 2005, building the first ever peer-to-peer lending company. Fast forward to 2020 and we launched Zopa Bank. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Database Engineer with administration and development skills to join a small and friendly team of Database Engineers responsible for managing business critical databases hosted in AWS. The Database Administration (DBA) team is committed to ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, data integrity, and security, while maintaining 24/7 availability of customer data across diverse database platforms.
Some of the tech stack you will be working with includes: AWS RDS Aurora Postgres, AWS RDS MySQL, SQL Server hosted on AWS EC2, WSFC, AlwaysOn, RedGate tools, Terraform, Jira just to name a few.

99.99% availability year-round. We are dedicated to promptly addressing stakeholders' support requests, ensuring uninterrupted access to critical data.
