Dropbox is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead the Core Dropbox portfolio. You'll manage a team responsible for go-to-market strategy and product positioning. This role requires experience in product marketing functions and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You have over 5 years of experience leading product marketing functions in fast-paced, matrixed environments — you've successfully managed teams and driven go-to-market strategies that resonate with users. Your familiarity with productivity, collaboration, or content storage software gives you a solid foundation to understand the market landscape and customer needs.
You possess a demonstrated ability to operate across both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) motions — this dual expertise allows you to influence product strategy effectively at the executive level. You are adept at creating clear, differentiated positioning grounded in user insights and product value, ensuring that marketing narratives align with customer expectations.
Your leadership style focuses on building and managing high-performing teams — you excel at recruiting, coaching, and setting priorities that foster a high-trust, high-impact team culture. You understand the importance of aligning efforts across product, growth, brand, and lifecycle marketing teams to achieve cohesive marketing strategies.
As the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will lead the strategic positioning and messaging for Dropbox’s Core experiences — your role will involve evolving the narrative to create clear, differentiated positioning that resonates with users. You will own the product marketing strategy for Core Experiences, defining and driving go-to-market strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
You will champion the voice of the customer, leading your team in developing a deep understanding of customer and market insights — these insights will be actionable and will influence product, messaging, and activation strategies. Your responsibilities will also include building and scaling a world-class product marketing management (PMM) team, ensuring that your team is equipped to execute programs that improve activation, engagement, and retention.
You will work closely with senior leaders in Product, Design, Growth, and Marketing to shape strategy and drive measurable business impact — your collaborative approach will ensure that marketing efforts are integrated and effective. You will be responsible for defining strategic narratives that align with the company’s vision and goals, ensuring that all marketing initiatives are grounded in user insights and product value.
At Dropbox, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our team. You will have the opportunity to work in a flexible remote environment, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement — we value diverse perspectives and are committed to building an inclusive team.
Join us in shaping the future of productivity and collaboration, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our Core Dropbox portfolio. We are excited to welcome a leader who is passionate about product marketing and ready to drive significant business outcomes.
