Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in Technical Program Management. Your background includes new product introduction, product life-cycle management, and portfolio management, which you have successfully navigated in previous roles. You possess strong executive communication skills and have developed strategies that align with business objectives. With 8 years of experience in infrastructure work, you understand the technical nuances that drive successful project outcomes.

Your experience managing complex cross-functional projects spans over 10 years, where you have demonstrated your ability to lead teams and set technical direction. You have a deep understanding of GPU systems and solutions, having worked with them for at least 5 years. In your previous roles, you have driven launches, improved productivity and quality standards, and resolved problems effectively. You believe that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s addressed comprehensively, ensuring that all stakeholders are considered.

You are comfortable engaging with engineering directors and product leaders, using your technical judgment to drive project delivery and build consensus among diverse teams. Your leadership style fosters collaboration, and you excel at managing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure timely project releases. You are adept at simplifying execution processes and bringing tooling efficiencies to the teams you support.

Desirable

A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field would be a plus, enhancing your already impressive qualifications. Your technical leadership experience is complemented by a proven track record of leading project teams and setting strategic direction.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, leveraging your technical expertise to guide teams through the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with business goals. Your role will involve clear communication with cross-functional partners across the company, making sure that everyone is on the same page.

You will engage with various teams to streamline processes and simplify execution, helping to manage OKRs and ensuring that projects are delivered on time. Your ability to drive launches and improve productivity will be crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for resolving issues and identifying trends that can lead to system improvements. You will also be tasked with implementing change that enhances the overall effectiveness of the teams you work with.

In addition to managing project timelines and deliverables, you will use your technical judgment to conduct technology reviews and propose solutions to issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Your ability to build consensus among diverse teams will be essential as you engage with engineering directors and product leaders to ensure that projects meet their objectives.
