Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in Network Backbone Solutions. You'll leverage your technical expertise to manage project schedules, identify risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 8 years of program management experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex organizational settings. You possess excellent investigative, quantitative, presentation, and problem-solving skills, which enable you to lead teams effectively. Your negotiation and organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to earn credibility quickly based on your knowledge and accomplishments. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders involved.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, and identify risks. Your role will involve clear communication with cross-functional partners across the company, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals. You will be comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
