Job Description

The Data Administrator will work closely with Preconstruction and Construction Managers in the R2L Team to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data management and reporting systems. This role will focus on creating and organizing unified, scalable reporting structures to enhance project visibility and decision-making capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement standardized reporting frameworks to track critical project milestones, schedules, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects.
- Collaborate with R2L leadership to develop and maintain data-fed decision support tools that provide real-time insights into project status, risks, and overall portfolio health.
- Drive the consolidation and optimization of existing reporting structures to create a single source of truth for project metrics.
- Perform complex analysis and deep dives into key metrics, identifying trends and potential risks that may impact project delivery.
- Build and maintain multiple databases while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across various project types.
- Create automated solutions for data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve team efficiency.

The complexity of this role extends beyond basic data management, requiring advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate complex project data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple programming languages, database management, and the ability to develop sophisticated reporting tools that support strategic decision-making. Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet platform is essential.

Key job responsibilities
• Design and implement standardized data collection processes and reporting frameworks for tracking project milestones, schedules, and budgets across R2L portfolio

• Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems in Smartsheet to provide real-time project status visibility to leadership.

• Ensure data integrity across all reporting platforms with rigorous quality control measures and validation processes.

• Create and automate complex analytical reports combining multiple data sources to track project performance, risks, and financial metrics.

• Lead the consolidation of various reporting structures into a unified, scalable system that serves as a single source of truth for the R2L team.

• Build and maintain data visualization tools to effectively communicate project status, milestone tracking, and performance metrics to stakeholders

• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Construction managers to understand reporting needs and implement solutions that drive efficiency

• Provide training and support to team members on data tools and reporting systems

The R2L team is at the forefront of Amazon's infrastructure development, serving as a crucial bridge between design conception and operational reality. Our dynamic team manages a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects that directly impact Amazon's ability to serve its customers more effectively, safely, and efficiently.

Our Mission

From ground-up new launches to sophisticated retrofits, our team ensures each project advances Amazon's capability to serve its customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI,)
• Strong working knowledge of Smartsheet, with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level project management solutions
• Demonstrated experience pulling and analyzing data to aid in root cause identification and drive process improvement initiatives across the network.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 3+ years in data management, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
• 2+ years of work experience in logistics/transportation/construction management industry
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $99,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
