Overview

Microsoft is hiring a Data Engineer II for the Copilot Insights team to enhance data-driven decision-making across Office applications. You'll work with SQL, Python, and Azure to analyze large datasets and improve data integration. This role requires experience in data analytics and business intelligence.

You have a solid background in data engineering, with experience in analytics and data integration — you've worked with large datasets and understand the complexities of data systems. Your proficiency in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, driving insights that inform product development. You are familiar with Azure and its data services, enabling you to leverage cloud technologies for data storage and processing. You thrive in collaborative environments, working across teams to create innovative solutions that enhance user engagement through data-driven insights. Your analytical mindset helps you monitor and evaluate the impact of changes on customer interactions, ensuring that the features developed align with user needs. You are passionate about fostering a data culture and are eager to contribute to the growth of Copilot within Microsoft Office.

Desirable

Experience with business intelligence tools and real-time analytics is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to deliver actionable insights. Familiarity with data visualization tools can also be beneficial in presenting your findings to stakeholders.
