Waymo is seeking a Manager EHS for the Americas East region to implement and maintain comprehensive EHS programs. This role requires expertise in environmental, health, and safety regulations and offers a salary range of $152,000—$192,000.
You have a strong background in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management, with experience in implementing comprehensive EHS programs. You understand the importance of aligning local operations with global standards and have a proven track record of working with regulatory authorities and compliance frameworks. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including lawmakers and public organizations, sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to conduct safety engineering analyses and develop effective safety strategies. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site responsibilities with remote collaboration.
In this role, you will report to the Environment, Health and Safety Manager and be responsible for implementing and maintaining EHS programs for Waymo’s Americas East operations. You will ensure that these programs align with Waymo’s Global EHS Standards and Regional EHS Programs. Your responsibilities will include developing safety goals and strategies, conducting safety analyses, and advising on compliance with applicable regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and continuously improve safety practices within the organization. Additionally, you will engage with external stakeholders to advocate for safety policies and ensure that Waymo's operations meet regulatory requirements.
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $152,000—$192,000, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
