Delinea is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to validate the quality, reliability, and security of their Connection Manager. You'll work with Java, Python, and Selenium to ensure robust testing processes. This role requires experience in both automation and manual testing.
You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on automation testing — you understand the importance of quality assurance in delivering secure and reliable software solutions. Your experience includes working with Java and Python, allowing you to develop effective test scripts and automation frameworks. You are familiar with Selenium and other testing tools, enabling you to execute both automated and manual tests efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the software lifecycle. Your attention to detail ensures that you catch potential problems before they reach production, contributing to the overall success of the product. You are adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, continuously improving your skills in the ever-evolving field of software testing.
Experience with cloud-native applications and identity security solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. You may also have knowledge of security testing methodologies, which will enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for validating the quality and reliability of Delinea's Connection Manager — you will design and implement automated test cases that cover various scenarios, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. You will collaborate with developers to understand new features and provide feedback on testability, helping to shape the development process. Your hands-on manual testing will complement your automation efforts, allowing you to identify edge cases and usability issues that automated tests might miss. You will participate in code reviews, providing insights on testing best practices and contributing to the overall quality of the codebase.
