Databricks is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive adoption of their solutions within top consumer and distribution companies in the UK and Ireland. You'll engage with cross-functional teams to create value for enterprise growth accounts. This role requires strong sales expertise and a solution-based approach.
You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the consumer and distribution sectors. You excel at initiating and advancing conversations that lead to value delivery, utilizing a defined methodology and playbook to guide your approach. You are comfortable navigating between technical stakeholders and business buyers, effectively connecting customer challenges to business value throughout the sales cycle. Your ability to assess accounts and develop strategic engagement plans sets you apart, as you thrive in complex sales environments.
You have a passion for solving business challenges and a deep understanding of how to articulate product value to customers and partners. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each customer. You are skilled at selling innovation and guiding deals to accelerate decision-making, which is crucial in managing longer, complex sales cycles. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding Databricks’ presence within a defined list of customers across the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with the Enterprise Sales Leader to drive adoption of Databricks solutions, unlocking new value streams for your clients. Your day-to-day activities will involve assessing your accounts, developing strategies to engage all buying centers, and utilizing a solution-based approach to selling.
You will be expected to identify and secure tech wins that grow consumption while managing the complexities of longer sales cycles. Your ability to switch between technical and business personas will be essential as you connect customer challenges to business value throughout the sales process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build out Databricks solutions tailored to the consumer and distribution industry verticals, ensuring that you meet the unique needs of each client.
