What you will work on:
You will design and develop a platform to monitor Amazon’s applications. This platform will help security teams to quickly and automatically identify issues and take corrective actions. You will be challenged by scale and latency constraints as you build features that delight your users, and you will learn about and integrate with critical systems across Amazon. We believe in experimentation, iterating quickly and getting feedback from our customers and stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a creative, customer- and details-obsessed Software Development Engineer familiar with building applications in Java, C++, C#, or Python. You need to have strong software engineering fundamentals (object-oriented design, algorithms and data structures) and a good grasp of advanced systems concepts and design. You will to be able to integrate customer while taking into consideration the long-term impact of any decisions. We need someone who loves learning and wants to work with an experienced team in a quick moving, agile and highly collaborative environment.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
