Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Painter to join their team in Blue Mound, TX. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting, including blending and paint correction. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating a high level of skill in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your expertise extends to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint on vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets Carvana's high standards. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet business needs.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable using state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace and are dedicated to following safety protocols while performing your duties.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications related to automotive painting or experience with advanced painting techniques would be a plus. You may also have experience working in a high-volume automotive environment, which would further enhance your ability to contribute to Carvana's mission.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, applying paint using various techniques, and ensuring that the final product meets quality standards. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that vehicles are painted efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction that Carvana is known for.

You will be expected to manage your time effectively, balancing multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality in your work. Your role will involve not only painting but also assessing the condition of vehicles and making necessary repairs to ensure a perfect finish. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that vehicles are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
