Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Lead Strategic Negotiator in Clean Energy and Power to lead negotiations and manage relationships in the energy sector. You'll leverage your expertise in stakeholder management and project management to drive infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in the international energy sector. Your background includes working with electric utilities, regulators, policymakers, and clean energy actors, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the industry. You have led regulatory, public affairs, or policy development programs in the energy sector, showcasing your ability to navigate complex environments. Your experience in leading negotiations and business development has equipped you with the skills necessary to manage relationships and lead critical negotiations for infrastructure projects. A Master's degree is preferred, and you have a strong grasp of stakeholder management with both regulators and private and public sector enterprises in the energy sector, particularly in power transmission and distribution.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading negotiations and managing relationships for complex power and energy projects. You will develop positions and thought leadership across energy and power topics, establishing Google as an authoritative voice in the energy industry. Your work will involve designing and implementing innovative electricity supply solutions and strategies to progress Google's carbon-free energy goals through dialogue and partnerships with public and private sector parties. You will also engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and facilitate successful outcomes. Your role will require excellent creative problem-solving skills, executive presence, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. You will be instrumental in driving Google's infrastructure needs, which extend beyond server computers, as you work to secure essential resources for the company's future.
