Your technical prowess allows you to influence the development of reusable software solutions that support various programs in energy efficiency and distributed energy resources. You thrive in a strategic leadership role, balancing the needs of a growing enterprise with the technical demands of software development.

What you'll do

As the Director of Software Engineering, you will lead a department of approximately 35 software developers across multiple platforms. Your role will involve managing the team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and security. You will be responsible for developing scalable and architecturally sound solutions that meet the needs of diverse clients.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Business Analysts, to align technical execution with business objectives. Your leadership will guide the team in developing high-impact software platforms that support various energy efficiency programs. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

In this strategic role, you will be expected to contribute to the overall growth and maturity of the organization. You will help shape the technical direction of the company, ensuring that the software solutions developed are not only effective but also sustainable in the long term. Your influence will extend beyond your team, as you will be a technical advisor across Energy Solutions, helping to drive the company's mission forward.
