What you'll do

As a Veterinary Assistant at Fox Creek - Wildwood, you will be responsible for providing skilled care to our patients, which includes assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures. You will communicate effectively with clients, providing them with status updates for hospitalized patients and guidance on home care instructions. Your role will involve educating clients on preventative medicine and wellness care, ensuring they understand the importance of vaccinations and laboratory procedures.

You will also support the hospital's financial policies by preparing estimates for clients and addressing any medical questions they may have with confidence. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly will be essential in building trust with clients and ensuring they feel supported throughout their pets' care journey. You will work closely with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals who are committed to providing the highest standard of care.

In addition to direct patient care, you will participate in the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring that the environment is clean and safe for both patients and staff.
