Squarespace is seeking a Senior Lead in Commercial Strategy to drive profitable growth through data-driven insights and pricing strategies. You'll collaborate with product teams and analyze customer behaviors to optimize monetization efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in commercial strategy.
You are a data-driven, analytical thinker with a strong background in commercial strategy. With 5+ years of experience in a similar role, you have a proven track record of researching, designing, and evaluating initiatives that drive profitable growth across products and businesses. You excel in tackling ambiguous problems independently, approaching them thoughtfully and methodically. Your ability to confidently present work outputs to peers and package findings into executive-level resources sets you apart. You are skilled in analyzing pricing data, customer segments, and user behaviors to discover pricing opportunities and best practices. You translate analyses into actionable insights that prioritize pricing decisions in pursuit of business objectives.
Experience in designing and executing monetization experiments in conjunction with product teams is a plus. You have a knack for monitoring and analyzing results to identify successful approaches that inform overall strategy. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholder alignment and problem-solving.
In this role, you will support or lead work streams on projects related to the company’s pricing and packaging. You will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial aspects of a set of customer SKUs and product offerings. You will analyze pricing data and customer segments to discover opportunities for improvement. Your insights will directly influence pricing strategies and business objectives. You will design and execute monetization experiments, collaborating closely with product teams to evaluate the effectiveness of different pricing strategies. Monitoring and analyzing results will be key to identifying successful approaches that will inform our overall strategy. You will also tackle ambiguous problems independently, presenting your findings to peers and packaging them into executive-level resources. Your work will be on the critical path of partner teams' roadmaps, making your contributions vital to the company's success.
You will join a dynamic Commercial Strategy team at Squarespace, where you will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally across the company. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work 2-3 days a week from our NYC Headquarters.
