Whatnot is seeking an LLM Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure for large language model applications. You'll collaborate with machine learning scientists and work with technologies like Python and TensorFlow. This role is based in San Francisco with hybrid work options.
You are an intellectually curious engineer with a strong background in AI and machine learning. You have experience in designing and scaling infrastructure for large language models, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with machine learning scientists. Your technical skills include proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. You understand the importance of building dependable AI systems that can operate at scale, and you are eager to contribute to innovative projects that redefine e-commerce.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus, as is familiarity with retrieval systems and LLM evaluation techniques. You are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges and are excited about the potential of AI to transform online marketplaces.
