Job Description

Are you ready to transform global commerce through innovative technology while witnessing the direct impact of your work?

Amazon's VASTech Regionalization team in Hyderabad, India is expanding. We're seeking Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to build our next-generation platform that will power Amazon's global regionalization initiatives. This role presents the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy distributed real-time systems while owning end-to-end system architecture and implementation.

As an SDE at Amazon, you'll create solutions that impact hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. You'll be responsible for building scalable platforms that solve complex technical challenges, with the autonomy to influence the direction of our technology. We're looking for candidates who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, execute quickly and efficiently, and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.

Key job responsibilities
Design flexible and scalable solutions for Amazon's large-scale computing needs
Demonstrate expertise in object-oriented programming with knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Solve complex technical challenges while maintaining system performance
Implement high-performance computing solutions
Ensure system reliability across large-scale deployment- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
