InterSystems is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee finance operations across the DACH region. You'll manage financial reporting, payroll, and internal controls while ensuring compliance. This role requires fluency in German and English and qualifications as a Bilanzbuchhalter.
You are a finance professional with a strong background in accounting and finance operations. You thrive on precision and enjoy solving complex problems, ensuring that financial processes run smoothly and accurately. As a qualified Bilanzbuchhalter, you are fluent in both German and English, ready to take the next step in your career. You have experience in maintaining accounting records and implementing internal control procedures, particularly within the DACH region. You are a trusted partner to leadership, providing insights and assistance in understanding financial results. You are proactive in addressing compliance issues and minimizing duplication of effort in financial reporting.
In this role, you will take ownership of finance operations across the German and Swiss branches of InterSystems. You will maintain accounting records in accordance with the company’s code of practice, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will prepare monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, assisting management in reviewing results and answering any queries. You will set and monitor cash flow, reconciling movements in bank accounts and ensuring that surpluses are managed according to company policies. You will control local purchase and nominal ledgers, the wages journal, and bank reconciliations, ensuring that all financial processes are efficient and effective. Your role will involve close collaboration with tax advisors to address compliance issues in a timely manner, making you a key player in the financial health of the organization.
