Overview

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in operations management, particularly in logistics or manufacturing environments — you've successfully led teams and managed complex projects that enhance productivity and efficiency. Your strong analytical skills enable you to forecast operational needs and develop effective plans to meet them. You are proficient in using various management tools and software, including Excel and project management applications, to track performance metrics and drive improvements.

You possess excellent communication skills in Japanese, allowing you to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Your leadership style is inclusive and empowering, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. You have a proven track record of developing talent within your teams, ensuring that each member is equipped to contribute to the organization's success.

Your experience includes managing multiple projects simultaneously, where you have utilized methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean to streamline processes and reduce waste. You are adept at problem-solving and can quickly devise recovery plans in response to operational disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on service delivery.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for the overall operational planning and execution at the delivery station in Amagasaki. You will lead a team of area managers and associates, ensuring that all operational goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Your role will involve developing weekly production plans based on forecasts and collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment and resource availability.
