We are seeking a passionate Front-End engineer to innovate in building Human Machine Interfacing Platforms to join the AIT team within the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Robotics organization.

- Analyze user challenges and compose a solution with clear software and UX design actions
- Design and build scalable front-end infrastructure using Amazon and AWS tools
- Write automated UI tests
- Instrument software with real user metrics to reflect the customer experience
- Follow best practices for user experience and insist on high standards
- Contribute to estimation and planning of work
- Mentor and educate other engineers on best practices for UX design and front-end infrastructure
About the team

We re-imagine what now looks like.- 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience
- Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)
- Experience to build persona-based UI tools and create UX assessment- Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
- Knowledge of security technology and concepts (Authentication, Authorization, Single sign-on, Cryptography, etc.)
- Experience in defining experiments and analyzing metrics to inform design/UX optimization efforts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
