Verkada is seeking an Account Executive for their Mid-Market West team to drive new business within mid-sized companies. You'll manage the full sales cycle and build a deep understanding of Verkada's products. This role requires a results-driven mindset and offers a thriving in-office culture in San Mateo, CA.
You are a motivated sales professional with a proven track record in generating new business and exceeding sales quotas. With a strong understanding of the sales cycle, you excel at prospecting for new customers and conducting engaging online demos. You have experience working with mid-sized companies across various sectors, including Technology, Finance, Healthcare, and Retail. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding quarterly sales targets.
Experience in the physical security industry or a related field would be a plus, as would familiarity with cloud-based solutions. You are adaptable and open to learning about Verkada's innovative products and how they fit into the market. A background in sales within the technology sector can help you hit the ground running.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities within the mid-market segment across the Western United States. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that you consistently meet or exceed your quarterly sales quotas. Building an intimate understanding of Verkada's products and their applications in various industries will be crucial to your success.
You will collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Hosting online demos and engaging with potential clients will be a regular part of your day-to-day activities. You will also be expected to provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions, helping to shape future product offerings.
Your role will require you to be present at the Verkada headquarters in San Mateo, CA, five days a week, fostering a thriving in-office culture. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of sales professionals and contribute to the growth of the organization.
