The Head of APAC AMZL Finance and her/his team of analysts support this mission by influencing decisions positively impacting safety, speed, quality and costs of our operations and
providing insightful analysis to optimize delivery experience increasing long-term free cash flow for the Company.
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages to customers across the world. The AMZL network is undergoing quick growth and change on a global scale. Our teams are changing the way we interact with customers every single day and solving some of the biggest logistical issues facing not just Amazon, but the entire industry. AMZL is developing an innovative world-class Last Mile operation with a portfolio of buildings, vehicles, and technology to deliver customers' packages on time and tailored to our ever-changing customer expectations. AMZL Finance teams partner closely with global cross-functional business and tech teams to support this rapidly expanding business; promoting controllership, innovation, productivity, and cost-effective operations across the network in a fast paced environment.

Own all aspects of finance for Amazon Logistics and the communication with the APAC, International, and WW leadership teams on the health of business, along with key risks and opportunities.
About the team
Have you ever ordered a product on Amazon and, when the box arrived, you wondered how it got to you so fast? Have you wondered where it came from and how much it cost Amazon to deliver it to you? Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions. There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors and Delivery Services Providers. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Relevant work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Exceptional business judgment capable of driving a diverse organization and competing priorities to the right results with a focused, pragmatic approach
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines with sense of urgency.
- Experience in a business partnership role · Proven track record of owning and driving results individually and through a team
- An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes- 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
- 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA, or CPA
