Job Description

Are you passionate about shaping the future of customer experience through innovative technology solutions? Amazon Customer Experience and Business Trends is seeking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to join their global team in Bangalore India.

The team’s mission is to develop a deep understanding of our customers needs, challenge the status quo, and generate actionable insights that elevate and improve the customer experience. Through our analysis and insights, we inform business decisions that directly impact customers.

In this role you will bring your technical expertise with an AI-first approach to identify opportunities to test new experiences available in the industry for our customers, build prototypes which can inspire Amazon, and partner across the global team to influence AI adoption and roadmap. This role requires someone who can think big, execute with precision, invent and simplify, and influence multiple stakeholders The successful candidate will lean on scrappiness, pragmatism, and technical know‑how to help peers reach tech-solutions quickly in ambiguous situations.


Key job responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end customer vision, build proof of concept based on common customer use cases, and then inspire Amazon product teams to offer similar solutions at scale.
* Drive the team’s operational efficiencies by coding your way out of simple challenges and building prototypes, automating processes, and validating hypotheses.
* Translate the business needs into technical solutions by working backwards from customer requirements.
* Develop comprehensive narratives of insights and recommendations for senior leaders to drive improvements.
* Work with internal technical stakeholders (e.g., product managers, software developers, system engineers), external service providers, and peers to execute use cases, bring technical perspectives into customer-facing workstreams, and amplify the team’s technical capabilities.
* Manage ambiguity by independently taking steps necessary to understand complex technologies and customer use cases across a variety of customer personas and product categories.- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in Generative AI or embedded systems and cloud technologies (AWS or equivalent), with hands-on experience building use cases, deploying cloud services, and implementing AI agents in real-world applications.- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and influencing decision-making across multiple teams, while effectively representing and advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
