Senior Manager, Secured Portfolio Management

Who you are

You have extensive experience in portfolio management, particularly in secured assets, and a deep understanding of default management frameworks. Your background includes working with various mortgage products such as Closed-End Seconds, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Jumbo Mortgages, and Government and Agency First-Lien Mortgages. You are adept at developing and implementing loss mitigation strategies and have a proven track record of managing critical lifecycles in portfolio management.

You possess strong analytical skills and are capable of building sophisticated Early Warning Systems to monitor portfolio performance. Your expertise allows you to identify credit risks effectively and develop strategies to mitigate potential losses. You are a collaborative leader who can work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure the success of the portfolio management strategy.

Desirable

Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Affairs, and United States Department of Agriculture products is a plus. You are familiar with the regulatory landscape surrounding secured assets and have a keen understanding of market trends that impact portfolio performance.

What you'll do

In your role as Senior Manager of Secured Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the default management framework for SoFi's secured asset portfolio. This includes managing the lifecycle of Early Warning Systems, Foreclosure processes, Workout Strategies, and Real Estate Owned (REO) Management. You will lead the development of strategies to monitor and mitigate risks associated with the portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including risk management, compliance, and operations teams, to ensure that the portfolio is effectively managed and that strategies are aligned with the company's overall objectives. Your role will involve analyzing portfolio performance data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes.

You will also serve as the organization's foremost expert on secured portfolio management, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive management within the organization.
