What you'll do

As a Legal Associate at Netflix, you will be responsible for overseeing production legal matters throughout the lifecycle of nonfiction projects. This includes development, pre-production, production, post-production, and launch phases. You will draft and negotiate various agreements, ensuring they meet both Netflix's standards and industry norms. Your role will involve collaborating with the Nonfiction Business and Legal Affairs team, as well as other departments such as Content, Production, Finance, and Marketing.

You will serve as a key point of contact for production legal issues, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Your expertise will help mitigate risks associated with production activities, allowing creative teams to focus on delivering high-quality content. You will also be involved in reviewing and advising on contracts related to talent, locations, and equipment rentals, ensuring that all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed.
