MongoDB is hiring a Relationship Account Manager to drive long-term partnerships with mature customers. You'll focus on customer success, retention, and expansion. This role requires 5+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management.
You have 5+ years of experience in a customer-centric role, ideally in Sales or Account Management, where you've been responsible for direct revenue generation. Your background includes at least 3+ years of quota-carrying experience, demonstrating a proven track record of hitting sales targets and driving customer success. You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to present effectively to diverse audiences both internally and externally. You have a passion for technology that delivers business outcomes and understand how to retain and grow clients through a focus on their success. Your ability to execute on activity and pipeline expectations aligns with published standards of excellence, ensuring that you meet and exceed performance metrics.
While not mandatory, experience in the technology sector or familiarity with MongoDB's ecosystem would be advantageous. A background in driving value and growth with customers through virtual meetings, enablement sessions, and strategic journeys is also a plus. You are adaptable and thrive in a hybrid working model, balancing in-person and remote interactions with clients and team members.
In your role as a Relationship Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for your customer base, leveraging the MongoDB ecosystem to drive expansion and retention of your customer portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success, education, and enablement, while also focusing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with clients to understand their needs, providing tailored solutions, and facilitating renewals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to align customer strategies with MongoDB's offerings, ensuring that clients receive maximum value from their investments. You will also track and report on customer engagement metrics, using data to inform your approach and drive continuous improvement in customer relationships.
