Staff Fullstack Software Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in fullstack development, with a focus on architecting and implementing scalable solutions. Your expertise in Next.js and React allows you to create high-performance applications that are secure and maintainable. You are well-versed in backend services, utilizing Node.js and Express to build robust APIs that follow SOA and microservices principles. Your knowledge of GraphQL enables you to design and develop efficient REST and GQL APIs, ensuring seamless integration across platforms.

You lead TypeScript standards across both frontend and backend, enforcing strong typing and clean architectural patterns. Your experience with Federated GraphQL architectures supports distributed teams and scalable domains, making you a key player in collaborative environments. You have a solid understanding of API Gateways, focusing on authentication, routing, rate limiting, and service orchestration to enhance system performance.

Your familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases ensures data consistency and scalability, while your skills in Elasticsearch and OpenSearch allow you to implement and optimize search solutions effectively. You are adept at designing event-driven systems using Kafka and message queues, facilitating asynchronous communication within your projects. You prioritize security best practices for APIs and distributed systems, ensuring that your solutions are not only functional but also secure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect, design, and implement scalable fullstack solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Platform teams to deliver high-impact solutions that drive business transformation. Your responsibilities will include leading the development of backend services using Node.js and Express, as well as designing and integrating APIs with GraphQL.

You will be responsible for building and integrating Federated GraphQL architectures, ensuring that distributed teams can work efficiently and effectively. Your leadership in TypeScript standards will help maintain high code quality across the team, while your expertise in API Gateways will enhance the overall performance of the systems you develop.

You will also work on optimizing search solutions using Elasticsearch and OpenSearch, ensuring that data retrieval is fast and efficient. Your experience with event-driven systems will be crucial as you design and implement solutions that utilize Kafka and message queues for asynchronous communication. You will play a vital role in fostering a culture of growth and collaboration within the team, contributing to the overall vision and platform evolution of Wizeline.
