Description

In this student role, you will work within a segment of Apple's Engineering team that specializes on SoCs for products. You will develop internal tools and scripts to increase the team's efficiency, support development processes, and understand how this work is integrated and affecting Apple's products. You will also learn how to work within Apple's internal development environment and work processes. We are looking for a dedicated student who loves challenges, brings the ability to learn and wants to become a part of our multi-faceted team.

Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. You must be enrolled as a student for the full duration of the internship. You have some scripting and programming knowledge with one or more of the following: TCL, Python, Perl, and Make. Your communication skills are excellent, and like the rest of us here at Apple, you love working in an open and multi-cultural environment. Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

Overall ASIC (RTL-to-GDS) design cycle understanding especially PNR/back-end analysis flow. You are familiar with the Physical Design process and interested in areas like Synthesis, Place and Route (PnR) and Static Timing Analysis (STA). Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities. Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion and diversity.
