You are an experienced compliance leader with a proven track record in managing compliance functions within the financial services sector. With a creative and action-oriented mindset, you thrive in building world-class financial infrastructure and enjoy collaborating closely with banks and technology companies. Your leadership style is characterized by your ability to inspire and develop your team, ensuring they deliver high-quality service across all compliance functions. You have a strong understanding of financial crimes compliance, banking, payments, and lending, and you are adept at using technology to innovate in risk management. You are passionate about creating a more equitable financial ecosystem and are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of compliance in embedded finance.
You have experience in leading compliance teams and have successfully set visions for compliance evolution in previous roles. Your background includes overseeing hiring, training, and performance management, ensuring operational excellence within your team. You are familiar with leveraging technology and AI to identify opportunities for innovation and scalability in compliance processes.
As the Head of Compliance at Unit, you will lead and manage the Compliance team, overseeing all relevant compliance functions including financial crimes compliance, banking, payments, and lending. You will help set the vision for the evolution of compliance in embedded finance, ensuring that Unit remains at the forefront of compliance excellence. Your responsibilities will include driving consistent, high-quality service delivery across the compliance function and identifying opportunities for innovation through technology and AI. You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer to align compliance strategies with the overall business objectives of Unit. Additionally, you will be responsible for the hiring, training, and development of your team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
