Astranis is seeking a Senior Structural Analyst to lead the modeling, structural analysis, and testing of spacecraft components. You'll utilize your analytical skills and mentor junior engineers while working in San Francisco.
You have a strong analytical background with experience in structural analysis and testing of aerospace components — your hands-on skills enable you to effectively model and analyze complex systems. You possess a solid understanding of spacecraft engineering principles and are comfortable working with various engineering tools. Your experience includes mentoring and training junior engineers, fostering their growth while ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of defining structural load requirements and test specifications for aerospace applications. Your ability to lead vibration test campaigns demonstrates your expertise in ensuring that components meet stringent launch and on-orbit requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working alongside cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Experience with advanced satellite systems or similar aerospace projects is a plus.
