Samsara is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive sales in the public sector. You'll engage with mid-sized customers to promote IoT solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about bringing innovative solutions to mid-sized customers. Your experience includes engaging with executives and CXOs, navigating complex sales processes, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a real-world impact through technology. You understand the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT) in transforming industries and are eager to help customers harness its potential. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating the value of technology solutions to diverse audiences. You are results-driven and enjoy the challenge of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with mid-sized public sector customers. You will identify opportunities to introduce Samsara's IoT solutions, focusing on how they can improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in operations. You will lead the sales process from initial outreach through to closing deals, which typically range from $20k to $250k. This involves conducting product demonstrations, managing proof of concepts, and negotiating pricing with multiple stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and that solutions are tailored to their specific requirements. You will also track and report on sales metrics, providing insights into your pipeline and forecasting future sales. Your efforts will contribute to Samsara's mission of digitally transforming operations across various industries.
