You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user needs and improve product accessibility. This role requires a strong background in user research methodologies.
You have a strong background in user experience research, with experience leading mixed-method research projects that inform product design and development. Your expertise allows you to dig deep into understanding user attitudes, emotions, and behaviors, which serves as the foundation for creating intuitive and accessible products. You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure that user insights are integrated into the design process. You are skilled in various research methodologies and can adapt your approach based on project needs, whether qualitative or quantitative. You are passionate about making technology accessible and useful for everyone, and you understand the importance of user-centered design in the development of complex tools. You are comfortable presenting your findings to stakeholders and advocating for user needs throughout the product lifecycle.
Experience with autonomous driving technology or related fields would be a plus, as would familiarity with tools and platforms used in UX research. You are also open to learning new methodologies and tools that can enhance your research capabilities.
In this role, you will lead fast-paced mixed-method research projects that inform the design of operations tooling at Waymo. Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $196,000—$248,000 USD, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
