Carvana is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs, including brake and tire services. This role requires at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive hourly pay.
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company in the automotive retail space. As an Automotive Technician, you are skilled in performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You are comfortable working with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center and are committed to delivering quality service to customers.
You understand the importance of routine inspections and maintenance, and you have experience with basic mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are a team player who values collaboration and is willing to learn and grow within the company. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair would be a plus. Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques would also be beneficial as you work to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
In this role, you will perform light maintenance and repairs on vehicles, focusing on brake and tire services. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for the road. Your tasks will include changing brake pads, calipers, and rotors, as well as installing tires and performing wheel alignments. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to maintain a high standard of service and efficiency in the Inspection Center.
You will also participate in training programs offered by Carvana to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair. As you progress in your role, you will have opportunities to take on more complex repairs and responsibilities, contributing to the overall success of the team. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
