What you'll do

As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, motivating and supporting them throughout their shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. You will collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives. You will engage with your team to ensure they are performing at their best and maintaining high levels of attendance and performance. You will also be responsible for monitoring workflows and ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.

In this role, you will need to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching. You will work in an environment that may be noisy and subject to variable temperatures, so adaptability is key. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a positive work environment and achieving operational goals.
