Overview

Benevity is seeking a Product Manager with expertise in the non-profit sector to lead the vision and execution for the NPO experience within their platform. This role requires strong operational skills and a deep understanding of regulatory environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance engagement with corporate clients.

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in the non-profit or charitable sector. Your expertise includes understanding regulatory environments and compliance standards that affect NPO operations. You are deeply empathetic and operationally minded, capable of leading teams to deliver high-quality features that drive value for users. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at managing backlogs and refining product stories to ensure alignment with user needs.

You possess a keen understanding of the unique challenges faced by non-profit organizations and can navigate complex global tax and charitable regulations. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including legal and finance teams, ensures that product features meet necessary compliance standards. You are passionate about creating solutions that enhance the user journey for NPO partners and are committed to advocating for their needs within the organization.

Desirable

Experience with agile methodologies and tools for backlog management is a plus. Familiarity with user research and data-driven decision-making will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering value to users.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the vision and execution for the NPO experience within Benevity's platform. You will serve as the internal authority on global non-profit operations, ensuring that product features align with regulatory requirements and user needs. Your responsibilities will include managing the product backlog, refining user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that enhance engagement with corporate clients.

You will partner closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with complex global tax and charitable regulations. Your advocacy for the NPO user journey will drive product strategy and roadmap development, ensuring that features are designed to optimize user engagement and satisfaction. You will also conduct user research to gather insights that inform product decisions and help shape the future of Benevity's offerings.
