Job Description

Our mission is to provide manufacturers and other industrial sectors with insights into the health of machines, processes, and operations to transform how people work and what they can create. A leader in Machine Health and Process Health solutions, Augury uses purpose-built AI technology, trained by industry experts and the world’s largest data library, to help companies realize the full potential of their production. Together with our customers, we are pioneering Production Health by removing friction created by competing business goals so companies can improve business outcomes, empower their workforce, and achieve sustainable production- all at the same time.

Join Augury’s growing Analytics team and help shape how we use data to power smarter decisions. In this full-time, remote role, you’ll connect data across our platform, CRM, and financial systems, uncovering insights that guide leaders across the company and drive measurable impact.

You will be responsible for building scalable data models and accurate BI solutions that tackle a variety of needs.  You will work alongside engineers on the analytics team and with cross-functional partners across our product, R&D, sales, and customer success teams.

A Day In Your Life

  • Contribute to Augury’s company-wide BI vision by helping establish and maintain a single source of truth for all consequential metrics, evolving BI from an engineering-led function into a strategic, organization-wide capability.
  • Inspect, optimize, and rebuild existing data pipelines to ensure accuracy, reliability, and scalability by identifying changes in underlying data extraction, integrating new delivery data streams, and supporting a MongoDB environment.
  • Develop meaningful KPIs with functional leaders (Product, Delivery, Revenue, Finance) and proactively surface insights, anomalies, and challenges from large and complex datasets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights that help internal stakeholders and external customers understand performance, including demonstrating the value and impact customers receive from partnering with Augury.
  • Construct intuitive, self-serve dashboards, data visualizations, and automations using tools like Sisense, enabling non-technical users to independently explore data and drive their own decision-making.
  • Challenge and elevate Augury’s BI approach by assessing current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to how BI should scale company-wide, including data governance, warehouse architecture, and best-practice workflows.

What you Bring

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, or other quantitative disciplines.
  • Experience: In a highly technical business intelligence, data science, or analytics engineering role.  Proficiency with Python.
  • Database Management: Extensive knowledge in database management with strong command of SQL.  Understanding of best practices for integrating BI solutions with databases and data warehousing.
  • BI Tool Fluency: Familiar with optimizing BI tools (e.g. Sisense, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Culture: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with colleagues around the world.

We offer several perks that include flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) match, stock options, paid parental leave, and WFH and phone stipend.

The pay range for this position in Colorado, California, and New York is a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience.

Augury is a people-first organization. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment in which employees feel encouraged to share their unique perspectives, leverage their strengths, and act authentically. We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and we welcome those from all backgrounds and varying experiences. We are committed to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We believe that diversity is more than just good intentions, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Augury is a proud equal opportunity employer, we strive to create a work environment in which everyone, all applicants, employees, customers, guests, and vendors feel safe and comfortable. We commit to maintain a workplace that is free of any type of harassment and does not tolerate anyone intimidating, humiliating, or hurting others. We prohibit willful discrimination based on age, gender, ethnicity, race, color, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, sexual identity or expression, military or veteran status, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
