Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management and operations, ideally within a logistics or retail environment. Your experience includes identifying and onboarding new accounts, ensuring that you can effectively drive growth for both the channel partners and Amazon. You are self-driven and possess exceptional communication skills, allowing you to train and coach teams on Amazon processes and operational standards. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with field visits to maintain relationships with retail partners.

You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and are adept at maintaining and publishing performance reports. Your strategic mindset enables you to build and execute account plans that align with business objectives. You are passionate about customer satisfaction and are committed to delivering the best results for your customers. You are also flexible and open to adapting your strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.

Desirable

Experience in the e-commerce or logistics sector is a plus, as is familiarity with performance management systems. You may have a background in training and development, which would enhance your ability to deliver effective coaching to team members. A strong network within the retail industry could also be beneficial in identifying potential partners.

What you'll do

As a Channel Team Lead at Amazon, you will be responsible for the identification and acquisition of new retail accounts within your assigned territory. This involves market mapping and strategic outreach to potential partners, ensuring that you meet time-bound acquisition goals. You will manage the growth of these accounts, working closely with channel partners to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business opportunities.

Field visits will be a key part of your role, as you will need to engage with stores regularly to foster relationships and ensure alignment with Amazon's operational standards. You will also deliver training sessions to partners, helping them understand Amazon's processes, products, and operating models. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in ensuring that partners are well-equipped to succeed.

In addition to account management, you will maintain routine reporting on store performance, analyzing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Your role will require collaboration with various teams, including operations, to support new product launches and ensure that all partners are aligned with Amazon's goals.

What we offer

At Amazon, we offer a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact. You will have the opportunity to work with one of the most recognizable brands in the world, contributing to our mission of being the most customer-centric company. We value diversity and encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Our team is committed to supporting your professional growth and development, providing you with the resources you need to succeed in your role.
