Amazon is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer II to lead Supply Chain projects for LATAM. You'll analyze large data sets to build insights and support data-driven decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with SQL and Power BI.
You have a strong background in business intelligence and analytics, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to derive meaningful insights from large data sets. You are comfortable working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to identify analytical needs and translate them into actionable solutions. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Your experience with SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI is essential for this role.
Experience with AWS services is a plus, as you will be working in a cloud-based environment. Familiarity with supply chain processes and metrics will help you excel in this position. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your analytical capabilities.
In this role, you will lead Supply Chain projects for the LATAM region, focusing on Brazil and Mexico. You will work closely with Operations and business teams to create metrics and track goals, ensuring that data-driven decisions are made effectively. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining ongoing metrics, reports, and dashboards that drive key business decisions. You will validate data accuracy for new and existing tools, ensuring that stakeholders have reliable information at their fingertips. You will also conduct root cause analysis to uncover areas of opportunity and present your findings in written business recommendations. Your role will involve influencing operational best practices for reporting and predictive analytics, enabling the team to scale effectively.
