Plaid is hiring a Strategic Partner Manager to drive relationships with Enterprise partners. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support partner integration and product expansion. This role requires a blend of commercial skills and experience in tech partnerships or business development.
You have a strong background in managing strategic partnerships, ideally with 5+ years of experience in tech partnerships or business development. You possess a blend of commercial skills and general business aptitude, allowing you to navigate complex cross-functional workstreams effectively. Your past roles may include experience in top-tier consulting or finance, which has equipped you with the skills necessary to drive successful partnerships. You are adept at building relationships and have a proven track record of supporting partners throughout their lifecycle, from integration to scaling volumes and product expansion.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with diverse teams across functions, including product, legal, and engineering. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are results-driven and have a keen understanding of how to leverage partnerships to create value for both Plaid and its partners.
Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus, as it gives you insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within this space. Familiarity with KYC processes and account funding solutions will further enhance your ability to support Enterprise partners effectively. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for Enterprise partners, guiding them through the integration process and ensuring they leverage Plaid's solutions effectively. You will support partners from the initial stages of integration to the point where they go live with their first customer, and you will continue to work with them as they scale their operations and explore product expansion opportunities. Your ability to manage relationships and provide strategic guidance will be crucial in helping partners achieve their business goals.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including product management, legal, and engineering, to address any challenges that arise during the partner lifecycle. Your role will involve coordinating efforts across these functions to ensure a seamless experience for partners. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for upselling and expanding the use of Plaid's solutions within partner organizations.
As you work with partners, you will gather feedback and insights that can inform product development and enhancements. Your understanding of partner needs will help shape the direction of Plaid's offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and valuable in the market. You will also play a key role in reporting on partnership performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Plaid offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on the financial technology landscape. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of partners, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that empower users to manage their finances more effectively. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to professional development opportunities and a supportive team culture that fosters growth and collaboration. Join us at Plaid and be part of a mission-driven company that is transforming the way people interact with their finances.
