Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in the fintech or SaaS space, where you've successfully led design projects from concept to execution. Your portfolio showcases a range of user-centered designs that demonstrate your ability to create elegant and functional products that resonate with users. You are confident in presenting your work to company leadership and skilled at communicating design decisions through clear, compelling storytelling. You have experience in leading peer designers, either as a design manager or as a senior individual contributor, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can partner with engineering and product management teams.

Desirable

You have a background in working on horizontal projects that span multiple organizations and product teams, which has equipped you with a strong understanding of cross-functional collaboration. Your experience in e-commerce or payments products is a plus, as it aligns with the core focus of Stripe's Payments team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead design for the Payments Dashboard team, overseeing the end-to-end design process. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define user experiences and translate them into high-quality designs that can be tested and refined. Your work will directly impact how millions of businesses interact with Stripe's payment solutions, ensuring that the designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. You will be responsible for conducting user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions, and you will iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.
