Job Description

Have you ever wanted to be part of a team who is building industry changing technology? Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved customers around the world.

Do you want to work in a dynamic team building, launching and operating a satellite service for consumers from the ground up?

We are seeking a talented Product Manager to support our product initiatives for consumers in Latin America. A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a decentralized organization. We want someone that is customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives.

This role will drive regional demand generation for our products and services and build our product roadmap schedule. The role will support the business strategy with relevant business insights and data analysis. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by bringing internet connectivity to communities across Latin America.

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead demand generation and product strategic decisions and insights, with data-driven, well-reasoned proposals to cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer needs and local behaviors
• Develop and execute regional pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and business objectives
• Manage stakeholders to define and track product and project metrics. Maintain and communicate project schedule to report progress against planned goals and deliverables
• Ensure that schedule changes are tracked and communicated efficiently to the right people at the right cadence

A day in the life
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market data, engage with regional stakeholders, and develop strategic initiatives to expand broadband access. Partner with global product teams to ensure regional customer needs are met while contributing to the overall business strategy.

About the team
Our team combines expertise in telecommunications, satellite, product development and business strategy to deliver innovative broadband solutions to customers. We foster an inclusive environment where creative thinking and collaborative problem-solving drive our mission to connect communities.- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning technology products
- Demonstrated experience on program management in technology or telecommunications projects- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience managing telecommunications, technology or consumer subscription services
