Overview

Apple is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead technical engagements with silicon and IP suppliers. You'll work on all phases of silicon development, including micro-architecture specification and validation. This role requires significant experience in silicon technology and product development.

Who you are

You have significant experience in silicon development, spanning all phases from micro-architecture specification to post-silicon activities such as bring-up and validation. Your expertise includes working with digital, analog, and memory technology product development, ensuring high volume manufacturing processes are efficient and effective.

You possess a strong understanding of statistical analysis and its application in silicon characterization and qualification. Your background includes hands-on experience with simulation and emulation, allowing you to effectively engage with suppliers and drive technical discussions.

You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product specifications are met and exceeded. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable asset in any technical engagement.

Desirable

Experience with high volume manufacturing processes and a deep understanding of the challenges associated with silicon productization will set you apart. Familiarity with the latest advancements in silicon technology and a passion for innovation in the tech industry are highly desirable traits.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers, driving the development of groundbreaking technologies. You will oversee the entire silicon development lifecycle, ensuring that all phases are executed flawlessly, from initial specifications through to validation and characterization.

You will collaborate with various teams to define and refine micro-architecture specifications, ensuring that they align with Apple's high standards for performance and efficiency.
